Maid of Honor

Ok people with these reviews Im gona keep it real,,,even if that means I don't know the names of the actors in these films lol, I am reviewing the content not the people right? LoL

Anyways our first blogged movie of the week #1 :) is my pick Maid of Honor. This is my first time as well seeing this preview as I just seen the trailer tonight on tv, and later viewed it several times on www.youtube.com . I like to put my comments and opinions up forth first before anyone else. I tend to only review movies I like, but I am going to try and give my honest opinion without a bias. So that means I will be going to see the bad movies (boooo) as well.

The movie Maid of Honor looks very funny, mature, but yet wholesome. In the past I have had one negative experience seeing an adult comedy in the theater *cough* Good Luck Chuck..that movie sucked big time..and was about nothing...It was only about sex..and really if I wanted to see a porn I could have saved my what? .9.50 and looked for porn online at home for free ! I feel just so bad for the lovely Jessica Alba, that was degraded for her unknowingly participation in that amateur film. However the Maid of Honor is not going in that direction. Thank God!

Its a funny film about a guy and his best girl friend who he realizes he has feelings for. This isn't your typical romance flick, as I feel this is a movie that guys can go to, and get something from as well. I feel that this is a decent movie that wouldn't be offensive to the general public. This movie actually kind of reminds me of a few early 80s love romance flavored teen flicks I saw growing up. We will go further into this review as the movie show date comes closer..but until then this is just a review of the preview trailer. :)

Movie of the Week #1

On my myspace page(www.myspace.com/forealzchola916), under my bulletins I have been giving a short mini review of new movie trailers to come. However I know that the reviews have been limited in content and are often times gone after a few other bulletins are posted. So I thought it would be better to take it up a notch and blog them. Many people like to read movie reviews, but from real people not some overrated critic. They like the judgement of someone they know and can trust. Which is me one cool, chick that loves movie flicks! The genre of movies I watch is unlimited, so I am a well balanced girl when it comes to the critique of content. I love diversity and am not to highly judgemental when it comes to a movie. But I do know a good movie from a bad movie. Here on Chicks and Flicks blog I will be blogging movie reviews, going later on to rate them, and review as they are shown in theatres. Straight up you will be getting the whole picture here, no false advertisements tsk tsk *wave of the finger* like some of these producers give you.
